Ron, Rick, and Molly - The Wrath of the Republicon Gophers

Ron Paul AND Rick Perry?  Molly would have had a field day!

September 12, 2011 - Republicon GOPhers eating their own.  Republicon Gophers are similar to the Monty Python rabbits "with nasty, big, pointy teeth"– but with less intelligence and grumpier dispositions.

Last night, the Corporate News Network’s underpants were in full view.  CNN has gone over to the dark side, drank the Koch-Koolaid, and is trying very hard to get “average Americans” (i.e. Independent Voters) to believe the Tea Party is no longer “fringe” but mainstream.  Recall, CNN is the same network that gave rise to the “media buzz” around “Death Panels.”  Did Rupert put a Manchurian Candidate in the House of Turner?   Is this a cable news version of “The Tudors?”

As for the Tea-bate, I suggest we buy stock in the company selling No New Texans bumper stickers.    After another stunt like this, those in the middle are going to wake up and understand the 2012 choice:  The United States as we know it or a return to Dickensian England.  Please, sir, I want some more.

Houston, we have a problem when Ron Paul is the adult in the room.   Until his recent about-face on social issues, I’m ok with Ron.  He is a Libertarian and he had been consistent.   I don’t agree with him, but I respect his right to be a loon.  The rest of the gopher pool are more recent converts to the Church of the Wild West and are racing toward the right; racing toward the bottom.

During the Tea-bate, if you were paying attention to Ricky’s body language, you realized actions speak louder than words.  If you had any doubt as to whether Governor GoodHair was a debating lightweight of questionable intellect, you got your answer.  If he can’t keep his cool with Mi-Shrill Bachmann, how is he going to negotiate the waters of international diplomacy?  We do not need another George W & Pooty-Poot moment.

If Governor Ken Doll is elected we may need to purchase Rosetta Stone – Mandarin.  This is not going to go well.  This is not a man ready for International Prime Time.   Hell, I'll take former Dallas Cowboy Deion "Prime Time" Sanders in international relations over Perry.   But the Baggers LOVE Ricky.  This should frighten us all.

In my observations, TeaBaggers fall into two frightening categories.  The first are the corporate Asto-Kochs; the profit-worshiping whores willing to bank roll any “movement” that ensures low taxes, few regulations and a massive positive cash flow for them.

The second, the “average” bagger, scares me more.  They are Hobbsian poster children with a skewed sense of entitlement and anger.  This misdirected and repressed rage - when incited - manifests itself in places like 1930’s Germany.

The Tea Party feeds on the same feelings of "angst," “superiority” and “otherness” that existed in P.W. Botha’s South Africa and the Third Reich’s Germany.   They, too, consider some people to be the “problem” – not the policies.

The Tea Party message is horrific and simple:  Are you going to let this Black Muslim and his Communist Buddies steal your money and tell you what to do – or are you going to vote with us?

No Sir.  Not now.  Not in this election cycle.  Not in this country.  We the People will not allow this Corporate-Financed Hate Group to destroy our Nation.
