Joe Walsh - Trying to "jump on over" to IL 10

We’ve just learned that extremist Tea Party Congressman Joe Walsh is running a telephone poll in Illinois’ 10th District to decide if he should run for Congress here instead of his current district.

He’s shopping around for districts, calling voters in the 10th to see where he might have “the easiest race.”

Just who is Joe Walsh? Here's a quick refresher:

• Joe Walsh called President Obama a “liar” and an “idiot” during the debt ceiling fight; refused to attend the Joint Session on creating a jobs bill; and then he told reporters that the media will protect Obama because he’s African-American.
• Joe Walsh has advocated for ending the Postal Service, selling off Social Security, and dismantling unions and workers rights -- all in the name of “fiscal responsibility” -- while being sued by his family for $117,000 in unpaid child support.
• Just a couple weeks ago Joe Walsh shouted down a constituent who questioned the power big banks have over government. Said reporters, “The bizarre rant from Illinois congressman Joe Walsh came after he was grilled...about the lack of regulation which ultimately allowed banks to bet against their own customers...Cutting off the man, [Walsh] yelled: 'I am tired of hearing that crap. Don't blame the banks... that pisses me off.'

From advocating for a crocodile-filled moat along the U.S.-Mexico border, to leading the charge to dismantle Medicare and Social Security, Joe Walsh is fundamentally out of touch with the values of 10th District voters.

Together, let’s send Ilya Sheyman to Congress to fight to rebuild the middle class and restore the American Dream.
